THE BREAKFAST CLUB, Spitalfields: Pancakes.. Bacon Rolls.. and a fridge (that’s also a Bar!)

If you’re a Londoner, you must have heard of the ultra-cool, ultra-relaxed and basically very ace cafes known as The Breakfast Club’s. There are now four (in Soho, Hoxton, Angel and Spitalfields) - which not only serve brunch all day, but do a wicked lunch, dinner and cocktail menu too. If you’re from out of town visiting, you’ve got to check them out, if you’re from in-town- we’ll see you down there soon. It’s a hangover cure guaranteed.

With vibrant illuminated signage and many hidden features such as a secret entrance to the bar below, the lighting strikes a balance between functional illumination and feature without dominating. Low energy lamps are utilized wherever possible and a lighting control system ensures that each space is flexible and the atmosphere changes throughout the day and evening.

The cocktails are what make this bar, without a quality range it would simply be an unremarkable novelty bar in Shoreditch (sound familiar).
They are very good. With a reasonable but not expansive selection, there is a fantastic range of flavours, ingredients and spirits on offer – without fail blended into some very original and delicious glasses.

Check it out everyone !!! ;-)

THE REAL GREEK

The official 2010 Olympics torch was lit today in the birthplace of the Ancient Olympics and will travel to London, where the Summer Games will take place from July 27 until August 12.
To get into the spirit I enjoyed a lovely meal at The Real Greek restaurant in Spitalfields Market branch. They provide an extraordinary Mediterranean dining experience complemented with exceptional service in a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend ;-)
